Today was such an odd day. I saw Lain about three times over the course of the day (random hall meeting, etc.) I could take it as a kind of omen telling me that I should try to talk to him more, but that whole idea just seems kind of outlandish. The first time I was walking to my physics class and we met at this "+" intersection in the hallway. He was on the left going right and I was on the bottom side going up. We met in the middle. I looked to my side and said "hey" and walked on to class. Another time was leaving my physics class. I opened the door and he was pretty near by walking down the hall. The final time was sitting near him at this academic challenge competition against the teachers after school. It was pretty weird. At first he came with his friends from band but he wasn't really talking with them. Then I guess some of his friends outside of band saw him and came over and he began talking with them and stuff. (Funny thing is one of his friends is in my Chinese class and another one of them might be in my freshman advocacy, just thought I'd point that out). I can't really say that he wasn't talking to his band friends because I was nearby. Although, that is a possibility. He doesn't really have any really close friends in band so that could explain why.

I'm kinda tired of only saying "hi" to him. I pretty much know that I can talking to him without having any problems, but there aren't any situation where I can go and talk to him without having anything to say. I mean, I can just go up to him one day and be like "hey lain, man my day was awesome blah blah blah blah", but that really isn't me. I'll have to think of things to talk to him about or just man it up and just go up to him and say "hey man, what's up, how's life?" Who knows, only time will tell.
