A couple of months ago my favorite band, the pillows, came out with a new song called And Hello!. I looked up the translation for the lyrics (since the song is sung in Japanese) and they didn't really make sense to me. After a few thoughts here and there, they finally make sense to me.

The lyrics, especially the chorus, seem to project the idea of something going away just as quick as they came by. But, something better comes along the way just as quickly as the things before. It's kinda nice. Even if my understanding is a little flawed, it still feels good that I've interpreted this song in a way that I can understand. And now that I do understand this song, I can apply it to things that are going on in my life- such as Lain. Maybe Lain going away from me as quickly as he came is making room for something more magnificent to happen. Or maybe it's just my wishful thinking. Who knows.
