Today at lunch the Chinese Club had a Chinese Luncheon to celebrate the New Year. I was eating my food in the band hall and I see Lain. He walks by and says to me "Is that good?". I replied, "Yea." Even though this doesn't seem like much (it didn't seem like much to me at the time too) it marks a milestone of sorts. That was the first time he had addressed me first instead of the inverse.

In other news, I went to a Harlem Globetrotters game tonight with Andy, Crystal, Tina, and her friends and family. It was pretty funny and entertaining. I'm glad that I got to go since it was a new experience for me. It made me want to go to a Rockets game though. <_<

Also, Solo and Ensemble contest is tomorrow. I'm kinda nervous, but I know I'll get a 1 and advance to the state competition. Oddly, I'm more worried on how the saxophone quartet is going to do more than I am about myself.

Happy Chinese New Year everyone!

Since my family isn't Chinese we didn't really celebrate Chinese New Year, but I take Chinese in school and I have a bunch of Chinese friends so I guess that makes up for it.

Other than that, nothing else really happened. The highlight of my day was hearing the saxophone quartet (which Lain is in) perform during class. It was pretty good. They've improved greatly since I first heard them last Friday. If they practice just a little bit more they'll probably get a 1 at the Solo and Ensemble contest on Saturday and advance to the State competition. I should compliment them on a job well done tomorrow.

I'm going to a Harlem Globetrotters Game tomorrow. It's gonna be fun. :D
