Jazz Night
Jazz Night was so awesome. It was fun hearing jazz music since I'm not exposed to it as much. I should download some artist and get a real good feel for the genre. It wouldn't be hard for me to get good artists anyway since I have friends that can recommend me stuff. So yea, I'm kinda tired from all of the dessert I ate there. I don't even remember what I ate. It wasn't really a lot, but it was more than what people usually eat in regard to sweet things. Now I think I'm crashing from all of it because I'm really tired. I'm probably tired from helping set up for Jazz Night. Carrying things back and forth between the band hall and the cafeteria can get tiring. Especially when you're carrying tables as well. I was doing it with Ash which was kind of fun. I like spending time with people I don't normally hang with. He seems like a pretty cool person and will be an excellent asset to the room I'm in for the spring trip. Although, Crystal was talking to me earlier, and she said that in the preliminary room lists, Ash wasn't in my room for some reason. Hopefully, once more tweaking is done, he'll be moved back in. Unless, of course, he moved out of our room at the last minute which is understandable. Speaking of the trip, I need to see at which hotel we're staying to see if they have free Internet or not. I hope they do.

"I'm tired of being played."
So, the head director didn't show up today. Everyone's reaction to him not showing up was quite amusing for me. People would come in the band hall during lunch and be like "Is he here?" (I did that too.) We would say no and then they would cheer. It was kinda nice seeing everyone happy like that because earlier in the day and yesterday people in band were pretty down in the dumps about the possibility of him coming back. During band class the assistant was talking with us, and he told us that he would stop telling us when the administration tells him that the director told them that he was going to come. He's tired of being playing for a fool, and some of us are too, so he's just going to stop altogether. He also told us that there have been times where it has been said that the head would be returning, but he never told us about those times. Which makes me wonder: why hasn't the administration done anything about this? Being absent from your job for a month and tricking your employer that you'll be coming back isn't exactly behavior that warrants keeping your job. Eh, I'll let them do what they want.

Jazz Night is tomorrow. I'm excited. The school jazz band is performing along with the sax quartet, jazz combo, a student-run ska band, and a student-run jazz band. It's going to be really fun. Not to mention that there are free desserts. :D
